Awed and Humbled!

My dad sent me this video a couple of days ago. Yes, my dad! I'm quite proud of my dad, because unlike most conventional dads, he is quite the tech savvy one! He knows how to use YouTube, which I'm quite certain most people his age haven't even heard of!

What awed me the most was not the talent she has a a young age, but the passion she had even though she was not given sight. She loves to play the piano, and that in no doubt has touched many, even those like me, who has only seen this one year later from when it was first on Korean TV!

It reminds me of how gracious God can be. She has been endowed with an awesome and miraculous gift of hearing and music. I was awed and humbled by her raw talent and her modesty to give her best in her performance. I'm sure she will put her God given talent to good use, and be guided be a wonderful Teacher. Time will tell what happened to this 5 year old wonder.

Talent is undeniably God given. No matter how small it might be in one's perception, it is HUGE in God's glory. I am once again reminded of God's grace, and the diverse gifts that he has instilled in His people. So I went on a verse search (which I sometimes do when I'm Inspired), just to see what the bible says about God's grace and gifts, and 2 verses made an impact:

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2: 8-9

"As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. For he says,
"In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you."
I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation."
2 Corinthians 6:1-3
