So cute!

I thought the girl would be too stunned to say anything, but she answered! Must have taken them quite a while to put something like that together. Watch...

Addiction

Very much like me and coffee.
But this is definitely about something so much more sinister than caffeine
(but 'sinister-ity' can be very subjective...)
Enjoyed this very much on SYTYCD 5 Top 12.
It very much highlights the struggles in addiction and the gluey effect that the addictive substance (drugs, alcohol... including caffeine) have on people.

Belfast Carnival 2009

Didn't know what it was a month ago, but I decided to join anyway. Something that goes along with parade and dance wouldn't hurt. And now, I am enlightened by it - and it certainly involves costumes, drums and lots of fun.

I did not bring a camera for this, so I turn to the trusty resources for stills and videos - Google.

Uploaded some photos on Facebook as well.

Until next year, if I am involved in it again. :)

Photos from GP posting...Rotation

I tried to start a page to put up my photographs a couple of months ago, but knowing my history of blog neglect - it will end up covered in dust and cobwebs. I shall just stick to this blog.

Anyways, here are some photos from the past 3 weeks while I was away in Coleraine for my GP rotation. The place was great! The people were nice and friendly. But most of all, it is near the beach. These were taken from Portrush, Portstewart and Castlerock, places near Coleraine, and the Coleraine itself.

When I saw the label on the door of the B&B, I was thinking, "Great! They've given me the butler's room..."
But look at the room I got! TV and attic roof, plus ensuite toilet! Amazing!
If you need to stay in Coleraine. :) Call Breezemount Guset House.

The guesthouse owner's family tartan on the carpet.

The B&B.
River Bann.
The window of the fish and chip take-away, where I had my first dinner.
Yummy and greasy fish and chips + cheese.
Swan on the river.

The medical center I was NOT attached to...

Sun, sea and sand! The Beach!
Portrush.

Summer flowers.
A Batanghood sculpture?
Seaside houses.
Silhouettes of fishermen in dusk.

Just makes me want to live here after I retire. Too early to think about that right now, but still...

Black Glen.

Mussenden temple.
Downhill house looking through to the temple.
But we can sit near the rocks.
Monkey-ing at the beach.

Skater jump.
Walking on water.
A lost jellyfish.
Sunset at Portstewart.

New!

And with that, 4th year has ended! Time sure flies!

I can't wait for this long course to end, but then again not too quickly.
Am I ready for the responsibility to be on my shoulders within a year's time?
YES, I am officially a FINAL year student!

Final year, weh...

Don't know to be scared or excited.

But definitely excited for the coming weeks!
Homebound and then the electives!
Oh, the break I so long for after the series of exams in 11 months!

More updates to come -
until I have edited the millions of photos I have.

By the way, how's the new template?
I like the change... :)

Going north

Haven't blogged for a looooooooooooooooooooong time... and when I do, it's always when I am about to leave somewhere far. This post is none of the exceptions... I'm going to Coleraine for 3 weeks of GP rotation. Here's a map for all those like me who have no clue about the geography of NI. Though far away, let's hope the summer weather lasts - because I'll only be 3 miles away from the BEACH!!! :)
